ConCarolinas has always been a strong supporter of the cinematic arts, giving local and national filmmakers a venue to showcase their hard work and award-winning talent to a whole new fandom fanbase. While the ConCarolinas Short Film Festival has been a long running part of the con, there has never been any formal festival for all of the other fantastic films that we show. So last year, we felt it was time to create an official identity for the feature films, web series, fan films and documentaries that we select for screening. We wanted something that would serve as a cinematic companion for the Short Film Festival, NOT in competition with it, and so, the ConCarolinas “Lights Camera Action Showcase” was born! And with no further adieu, we are excited and delighted to announce the OFFICIAL SELECTIONS for the 2017 ConCarolinas “Lights Camera Action Showcase” line-up!!! Stay tuned in the coming weeks for project trailers, posters, screening times and possible additions to an already bloody brilliant slate of movie magic!
