A message from the Con Chair.

Whew, what a weekend! Thanks to everyone who helped to pull this off! My most sincere and deepest gratitude to the technical team of Jason Gilbert, Jim Nettles, Ray Franks, and Shannon Strucci. The amount of time and effort they put into the virtual convention cannot be measured, but it is definitely appreciated. This is usually the time when we are making the last sweeps through the hotel to make sure everything is packed up and secured for next year. When we are making final arrangements with the hotel to close out the con and prep for the next one. When we are clapping each other on the back and congratulating each other for hard work. This year looks a lot different. It was HARD to not be able to see you all. It was SAD to not see all the costumes and cosplay. It was DEPRESSING to not gather around the bar and restaurant tables chatting about our time since we had last seen each other. Despite the digital divide between us, you guys pulled out all the stops to make it feel like we were there. Fandom t-shirts on the panels, snarky jokes in the event comments, inviting your buddies to panels by way of sharing events, all are appreciated. Thank you for allowing us into your homes for this grand experiment, and that you for another successful iteration of ConCarolinas. I look forward to seeing you all at the next con!
