Dear ConCarolinas Family,
It is with deep sadness that, in conjunction with the Hilton, we made the difficult decision to not move forward with ConCarolinas 2020 as a physical event this year. North Carolina’s Stay-At-Home order was extended to May 8, with a phased reopening after that. Even in the best case scenario, North Carolina would not be open for events such as ours by May 29.
All pre-registrations will automatically be rolled over to ConCarolinas 2021, scheduled for June 4-6, 2021.
Unfortunately, the Hilton is not able to shift room reservations to 2021, you will need to call them to cancel your room. The phone number for the University Place Hilton is (704) 547-7444. If you need any assistance with this process, please contact us at concarolinas@concarolinas.org.
While we are deeply disappointed to not have an in-person event this year, we are excited to announce that we will have ConCarolinas virtually this year! We have been working for several weeks to produce a virtual con that will feature both live and pre-recorded content. To bring this to life, we have partnered with ConTinual to take advantage of their online platform. We are grateful to ConTinual for sharing this opportunity to bring ConCarolinas to life in this way.
Virtual ConCarolinas with ConTinual will be a free event, taking place during the regularly scheduled ConCarolinas weekend, May 29-31. It will run across several platforms and offer a mix of some of the programming you have come to expect at ConCarolinas, including entertainment, workshops, panels, and more! We will also be featuring our vendors from the dealer room so that you can support them, as well as ways to support ConCarolinas and our partner charities.
