If the block doesn’t show any doubles please EMAIL concarolinas@concarolinas.org and we will see if they hotel can add more doubles in. (Do not post on Facebook/Twitter/Social Media or try to Messenger us . . . please).
So, I really need to share my room with a roommate. Any help on that?
We have a thread in our Facebook group dedicated to 2018 Roommates and Ride Share. Using our group to facilitate is your choice. ConCarolinas is in no way culpable for the arrangements you make with another person for rooms or ride share.
Can I sleep on a sofa in the lobby?
No. No you may not. Anyone found using the open areas of the hotel to “camp out” or for “lobby conning” will be asked to leave.
What do you mean I can’t lobby con or hang out in the dealer room?
Our dealer room is open to the public but in order to participate in con related activities, you must have a membership badge. This means that if you want to have RJ Haddy or Roy Wooley do your SFX make up or have Seanan McGuire sign your book or DC Douglas sign a photo, you must have a membership badge. You have until 5/25 to pre-register. Because we are awesome, we even provide discount codes:
