Announcing WCCB Charlotte’s The CW, Just Jess as Fan Special Guest

Just Jess began her adventures in land of comics in 2013 when WCCB became Charlotte’s CW. The day after the ‘The Flash’ debuted on the CW, she began a ‘Talking Dead’-inspired web show, ‘Flash Chat,’ in her edit bay. That show has since evolved into ‘Super Chat,’ a weekly, live-streaming, studio production including conversation about the ‘Supergirl’ and ‘Arrow’ shows featuring multiple weekly guests and the occasional celebrity interview.

When she’s not arranging Funko Pops around her desk, Just Jess can be found behind the camera writing and
producing on-air promotions for WCCB, supervising the CW street team, and on the WCCB News Rising couch giving away prizes on Mondays and chatting the full 8am hour on Thursdays.

Originally from Binghamton, NY, Just Jess moved to Cary, NC with her family in 1996. She is still not used to the heat but loves living in Charlotte. In her spare time, she is the Marketing Director for a dance fitness company she co-owns, THE JAM: CLT. And in her even sparer time, she can likely be found at a concert, drinking craft beer, hiking, or… the more likely scenario…on the couch with her fluffy cat, Clementine, and turtle, Ninja, binge watching tv shows and eating dumplings.

Just Jess graduated in 2006 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in Communication Studies and Journalism.
