Stephanie McClung

Stephanie is a true Southern girl, born and raised in Charlotte, NC and Fort Mill, SC. Moving to Auburn, AL to go to college at Auburn University (WAR EAGLE!) only made her more southern. Stephanie returned back home to Fort Mill, SC after college and has lived there ever since. She and Ron got married in 2002. She has a son, Jordan, who is also heavily into gaming, sci-fi, and fantasy. Stephanie was born in '73, was a 1st grade teacher in Rock Hill, SC and now is a stay at home mom for Ron and Stephanie's 2 children, Taylor and Keegan.

Stephanie has been a fan of sci-fi most of her life, starting with watching TV shows and movies with her dad, like Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. She became involved in conventions after s he started dating Ron in 2000, helping him with gaming for MACE and StellarCon. Since then, her love for sci-fi, fantasy and horror, gaming, and conventions has truly grown by leaps and bounds! She has assisted and supported Ron in most of his gaming and convention endeavors over the past 4 years and became secretary for ConCarolinas in 2003.

Stephanie enjoys all kinds of gaming (RPGs, board games, card games, and ordinary everyday kinds of games). She is also a sports fan, loves watching Carolina Panthers and Auburn Tiger football, and enjoys playing softball and volleyball. Her favorite place to be is outside - walking, playing, planting flowers, or enjoying the beach or the mountains. Stephanie is a family girl and nothing is more important to her than her family and God. She also has a passion for children of all ages, but especially young ones. Stephanie is also currently working on getting her medical transcription certification. If she can find any spare time after all this, she does enjoy reading. Her recent favorites have been fantasy (Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter), murder mysteries, and the Left Behind series.
