ConCarolinas 2009

This month (June), ConCarolinas will be making a change to our new forums on the web site. We found that the Mercury Boards that we had in the past had limited functionality and was more prone to spammers and phishers. We have decided to move to PHPBB forums.

There is a bad side to this change for the better - everyone has to re-register in the new forums. The link is up on our web site. Here is a direct link...

The registration approval is set to manual approval, meaning that the admin approves memberships. We will try to approve people as often as we get a chance.

ConCarolinas was an amazing success once again. Despite rising gas prices, we had record setting attendance. EVERYTHING was busy this year - programming, gaming, and the best dealers room yet. We tried several new things this year, tapping new areas in fandom - some were more well recieved than others but all has fun in general.

We want to thank all our faithful attendees for a great time.
